These unique statement earrings are hand-made from a rich red earthenware clay.
Once embossed with an intricate pattern, a vanadium yellow terra sigilatta was applied to the surface and burnished. After the initial firing, a glossy glaze was applied before the beads were fired for a final time. This allows the natural red color of the clay to show through, creating a weathered look.
Findings are hypoallergenic, nickel free, surgical steel.
